I was born and raised on the small Channel Island of Guernsey. I completed my undergraduate and clinical medical training in Cambridge as a member of St John’s College. I then moved to Oxford to begin work as a junior doctor, and first joined the T cell biology lab for a 4 month project as part of the academic foundation programme.

After completing my foundation years in 2015 I came back to the lab to begin a DPhil, funded by the Wellcome Trust Doctoral Training Scheme for Clinicians. My project is co-supervised by Simon Davis and Prof Richard Cornall.

I am looking at the therapeutic potential of targeting inhibitory receptors on immune cells with superagonistic antibodies.
