After finishing my DPhil in computer science at Oxford, I joined the T-cell biology group as a postdoc.
Even though I was from a totally different background, Simon (and Ed) was kind (and brave) enough to offer me the opportunity to work and be trained in his group. When I started my job, I worked closely with Ed on bioinformatics and data analysis, and I learned a lot about biology and immunology from him.
