James Felce
James is currently a post-doc, working with Simon at the Davis lab in Oxford. He studied for his PhD under Simon’s direction and prior to that he studied Biochemistry for his undergraduate degree here in Oxford too.
James had had an opportunity to work with Simon during his undergraduate degree. He was impressed by the level of support and high quality of the lab, the science, and the general atmosphere and so decided to apply for a PhD position within the lab.
In particular, James found the technical support from the four experienced research assistants very useful in helping him get through the volume of work required for his studies.
James will be leaving Simon’s lab very soon. He’s been awarded a Fellowship with the Wellcome Trust at the Kennedy Institute.
